Plans and Ideas
The game development hasn’t fully begun yet. So, let’s talk about plans.
First of all, let me introduce myself. I am Hex. I code in Python, HTML/CSS, and now UE4/5 blueprints. This is going to be my first project with Unreal Engine so updates may not be as frequent as I would prefer and some features may take quite a while to implement.
Enough about me. Let’s talk about the game. I would like to try and release a devlog as frequent as I can. Sometimes this will be on Itch, sometimes on YouTube, and sometimes on both. The updates will be quite a while and the Alpha stage will most likely be very long. The reason I am making this game is because the latest good moddable zombie FPS was Left 4 Dead 2, which was released in 2009. And yes, you heard me right. I am going to try to make the game moddable. It will probably be one of the last features I worry about while in alpha states, but in the end, I do want to try to add it. I want to add plenty of content and skins while not making the game have any transactions. I would prefer to keep the game free, but if I have to, I will make it paid. If it is paid, it will probably be around $15 USD. There is going to be a large selections of guns. Currently there is 22 pistols, 5 shotguns, 18 ARs, 15 snipers, 6 LMGs, and 19 SMGs that I currently want to add. I will be adding plenty more however, and you can suggest guns that you would like in the game in the discussions tab. The game will have a campaign as well as shooting range, zombie waves, and multiplayer.
